What an amazing 2018 Yuukan members have had We started the year with Milton Show with a demonstration and our members went to a training camp in Brogo with the members of Bega Judo Club. We competed at the NSW State selections and also the 2018 Australian Nationals. These competitions were both very highly contested with Yuukan Ulladulla and Yuukan Bega both winning many Bronze, Silver and Gold medals of 5 members who are the 2018 Australian Kodokan National Champions. Bodin trains hard and he always tries his best at Judo. He is an amazing judoka to watch when he competes, his technique is very clean. He is the 2018 Australian Kodokan Champion and the first Bega Perpetual Trophy winner.
Aimon trains in both the junior and senior classes. He is very talented, as a judoka his judo comes very natural and he is very technical and precise. He is the 2018 Australian Kodokan Champion. Well done Aimon,
The winner of the Ashley Schofield - Most improved award goes to Betty. This award this year could not have gone to any one else. Betty trains in both junior and seniors and she competed in her first Nationals is the 2018 Australian Kodokan Champion. Congratulations Betty, Ashley would be extremely proud of you.
The winner of the Nolan Encouragement award is NAT. Nat is a quiet achiever, He was very nervous this year to compete at the State and nationals, but hopefully this year after receiving this encouragement award it actually does encourage you and you can believe in yourself like we believe in you.
