2018 Brogo Training Camp

Picture

Yuukan Ulladulla members travelled to Brogo for a training camp to participate with the Yuukan Bega Club. We had an awesome time.

We would like to thank the Bega Club for allowing us to "crash" on the mats and sleep in the dojo for the weekend

Yuukan Ulladulla Club grading
You were all put through the ringer, nerves were all there, especially for Riley as he was nervous you would all forget what he has been teaching you all term, but your memory didnt fail you and you remembered the ground hold names, the throws and technique names, the strangles, breakfalls, the rolls, the “judo jargon” was perfect and the nerves did not get the better of you all and you all were graded. Congratulations we are super proud of you all.
River, orange/green belt,
Tammy, Orange belt
Aimon, yellow/orange belt

The Disco and talent quest was a great success with Sam and Tammy performing a great magic trick that we all are still amazed with- you will have to have a new one for next time for us.
Lots of drumming from Jono, Kai, and Bodin
A fantastic duo from Zaq and Clancy
Solo drumming performances from River and Aurelie
Raedon on the trumpet
Gui-taring and singing from Amelie, Eva, Camille, Bella and Riley
Get ready for the next one, Aimon, Winter, Yenje, Zoe you wont get a way with being the "new" ones next time.

Brogo River is amazing and fresh, we all went down to the river where some actually got their swimmers on and a few of us even ended up in the "refreshing" water. We need to do more of this in the Summer months i think. We all got to go for a walk and an explore and with the animals etc it was like we were in paradise

Deb showed us how to find and weave a necklace from the weeds and reeds and we spent ages trying to throw a rock in a tree with a hole in it.. as well as the DVD and pampering in the cabins
