2011 NSW Country Championships
We arrived at our holiday house at Swansea. It was a lovely house and not only fitted us all in, but it was very spacious and affordable.
It had fantastic veiws over looking the river and the kids could watch the boats driving past and the bridge opening for the bigger ones to pass through.
It was also just a short drive to the venue at the PCYC, which was great considering we had to get 16 of us ready.
The kids all had a great time with their new knowledge of how to get oysters with a butter knife and rock, mind you, not many of them actually wanted to eat them.
So Blake and Riley gorged themselves, Michael ended up getting a taste for them, which then meant the kids could get more and feed the 3 of them.
It was also really close to the shops and also the local swimming pool, so after a hot day at the PCYC it was a nice way to relax.
The best was having the 2 TV rooms so that the kids could all go in one room and the parents in the other.
For dinner we all did our traditional Pizza, garlic bread and drinks, which is always easy and a great way to finish off the day, but this time we were in for a bigger treat when the butter melted onto the element.
Another year down, with some more great memories to add to the Yuukan folder. Congratulations to Chris, Blake, Luke, Michael, Molly, Riley, Amelie, Nicholas, Marko, Nikolas and Eva.
