"STOP a BULLY"
The Anti-Bullying Contract
Yuukan Judo Club and their members are extremely happy and proud to sign the "STOP a BULLY" Contract.
This is a great way to encourage students to agree to be more active and help fellow students and others in their school when they see that someone is being bullied.
We all know someone that is a bully or someone that has been bullied and it is unfortunate that these kids grow up to be adults and are still bullies.
We at the Yuukan Judo Club have had many members who come to judo because they are or have been bullied and their parents bring them along to be able to defend themselves. Then something even better happens, Their self esteem grows, they are welcomed into our "family" and they continue to gain self worth, self respect and then they are not worried about these bullies any longer as they have the confidence within themselves.
Unlike some people others need help from others and this contract is for them, the ones that may need some encouragement to speak up for someone who cant speak out.
It is the courage to speak to a teacher, a coach or another adult that will be able to help them.
We hope that other judo clubs and all the other sporting clubs support the "STOP a BULLY" and talk to their members about not being a bystander and get on board and get their members to sign the "STOP a BULLY" contract and we all can be proactive in this Anti-Bullying campaign to "STOP a BULLY"
