END OF TERM 2 TOURNAMENT
(24/6/2014) and 25/6/2014)
WOW what an awesome way to end term 2. We had lots of great judokas in our class and it is great that they can show us, but more importantly,
their parents their new techniques and what it is that they do at judo every lesson through out the term.
It is great to see the new ones getting in and having a go and actually getting nice ippons and hold downs.

The Ashley Schofield Scholarship winner
This is a great scholarship to win, Firstly it means you do not have to pay for a whole term fees, Ashley will do it for you. (your parents will love you) Secondly, To get this scholarship, you need to come to judo with your ears and eyes open, your best attitude and be on your best behaviour. (not just one lesson, but for the whole term) We watch and observe, we also tell Ash what is going on and who pays close attention and is ready in line with their belts tied and mouth closed to learn and then actually put what they are learning into their judo. This scholarship is awarded to who we feel has been a junior role model at training and who ticks all the boxes. The winner of the Ashley Schofield scholarship is Loui, Congratulations Loui, we are really proud of how you perform every time you set foot on the judo mat, it makes it a great pleasure to teach and watch you. |
