Working With Children Checks
Our club also requires all its members who are 18 years and older to have a Working With Children Check. This is now the law for all sporting clubs
We also require all the parents to also get this free check as it helps keep our volunteers up to date with policies etc.
We have training days and camps etc that our children go to and we like to know that we keep them safe with the parents and members that they go away with them.
We encourage you also get this FREE WWCC for parents.
(I have these checks on file if you require proof or would like to see them)
Just click here and follow
https://wwccheck.ccyp.nsw.gov.au/Applicants/Application
When it comes to the question of “purpose to check” click the volunteer one (it is then free)
and the “child relator sector”
clubs or other bodies providing services to children.
If you have any questions do not hesitate in asking either Chris, Gayle or Telissa and we look forward to seeing you on the judo mat.
